Breast Cancer
Early detection of breast cancer is essential. All women aged 35 and above, especially those at high risk,
should undergo breast cancer screening. Self-breast examination should be done at the appropriate time—about 7 days after menstruation.
Perform it regularly, once a month. Those who practice self-exams regularly become familiar with their breasts and can more easily detect abnormalities.
Clinical breast exams and mammogram (X-ray mammography) by a physician are the standard method
for detecting early-stage breast cancer—even before a lump can be felt. This special X-ray technique
is even more effective when combined with ultrasound, or high-frequency sound wave imaging.
This combination provides more precise information about whether a detected lump is a cyst or a solid mass.
Ultrasound breast examination together with mammography helps ensure higher diagnostic accuracy. Learn more >> Click
