Gestational Diabetes Screening

• Gestational Diabetes Screening (50gm GLT) during the second trimester – 1 time
• Protein and Sugar in Urine Screening (Urine Strip Test) during prenatal visits – 8 times
• Fetal Health Assessment (NST: Non-Stress Test) during the third trimester – 2 times

Conditions of the Prenatal Care Package

• Includes doctor’s fees, medical supplies, and hospital service charges as specified.
• Pregnant women can use the prenatal care package at the discretion of their obstetrician.
• In case of miscarriage after the first trimester, charges will be based on actual services provided, and any excess fees will be refunded (if any).
• Service charges are subject to change without prior notice.
• Service charges can be paid in installments. For more details, please inquire at the nurse’s counter.

Items Not Included in the Package

• Pre-existing conditions or complications such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc., are not covered by the prenatal care package. This is at the discretion of the obstetrician.
• Multiple pregnancies
• Prenatal vitamins, vaccines, or other medications
• Down syndrome screening
• Additional examinations such as preterm labor, diabetes diagnosis, thyroid tests, COVID-19 tests before delivery, etc.
• Internal examinations
• Gestational Diabetes Screening (100 gm OGTT)
• It is recommended to screen during the second and third trimesters, especially for those at high risk, such as older age, family history of diabetes, or pregnant women with high body weight or rapid weight gain. Screening helps the doctor monitor complications and ensure a smooth pregnancy.

Fetal Health Assessment (NST)

This test monitors the fetal heart rate during the third trimester, observing uterine contractions as the due date approaches. The frequency of the test depends on the health of the mother and fetus, with additional recommendations provided by the doctor.
