Suitable foods for different blood types to promote better digestion and build stronger immunity are as follows:
Blood Type O – The stomach digests meat best. Regular consumption of seafood is recommended. Suitable meats include fish, shrimp, crab, as well as wheat-based foods, oats, and various nuts.
Blood Type A – This blood type has thicker blood and is better suited for easily digestible vegetarian diets. Suitable vegetables and fruits include broccoli, carrots, pumpkin, spinach. Prefer soy milk, goat milk, or low-fat yogurt instead of cow’s milk.
Blood Type B – This type digests both meat and fruit well. Recommended are salmon, cod, white fish like snapper or sole, as well as goat, lamb, and turkey meat. All kinds of leafy green vegetables are good, but avoid tomatoes and corn.
Blood Type AB – Can eat vegetables, fruits, and meat. Soy products and tofu are also suitable. Milk, butter, eggs, and low-fat yogurt can be consumed, but avoid white fish and smoked salmon as they are hard to digest. Frequent vegetable intake, either fresh with chili dip or as salads, is recommended.
However, eating a balanced diet with all five food groups at every meal is essential for good health and helps the body build strong immunity.
For those suffering from allergies due to a weak immune response, choosing the right foods can also help manage allergy symptoms, including:
1. Consuming foods high in probiotics, such as yogurt.
2. Eating fruits rich in vitamin C to fight free radicals, relieve allergies, and reduce inflammation, such as oranges, Indian gooseberry, and guava.
3. Foods rich in magnesium, such as almonds, cashews, and rice bran.
4. Foods containing Omega-3, such as tuna, which have properties that can alleviate allergy symptoms.
