It spreads easily through contact with feces or objects contaminated with the virus.<\/p>\n<h2>Symptoms of Rotavirus in Children<\/h2>\n<p>Children infected with rotavirus often have these symptoms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frequent watery diarrhea<\/li>\n<li>Vomiting<\/li>\n<li>Fever<\/li>\n<li>Lethargy, not cheerful<\/li>\n<li>Dehydration symptoms, such as dry mouth and reduced urination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Symptoms to Watch Out For<\/h2>\n<p>If your child has the following symptoms, you should take them to a doctor immediately:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Constant vomiting<\/li>\n<li>Refusal to drink milk or water<\/li>\n<li>No urination for more than 6 hours<\/li>\n<li>Sunken eyes, cold body, cold hands and feet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Rotavirus Prevention<\/h2>\n<p>The best prevention is the rotavirus vaccine. It is recommended to start vaccination at 6 weeks of age and complete the scheduled doses by 8 months of age.<\/p>\n<h2>What to Do If You Suspect Your Child Has Rotavirus?<\/h2>\n<p>Do not buy anti-diarrhea medication for children to take on their own, as it may worsen the symptoms.
