The Department of Physical Therapy offers promotion, rehabilitation, prevention, and treatment services in accordance with professional standards. We have physical therapists who are skilled in using modern equipment and can provide precise, safe treatment and plan the rehabilitation together with the patient to prevent re-injury and enable them to lead a normal or near-normal daily life. This includes conditions such as office syndrome, stroke, thrombosis, muscle pain, and inflammation, rehabilitation from sports injuries, etc., all to help patients quickly regain a high quality of life efficiently.

Medical Services:

– Alleviate muscle pain/inflammation, tendonitis, bone and joint issues using standard and modern physical therapy equipment and devices.
– Relieve neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and muscle pain resulting from office syndrome.
– Treat stiff joints, such as frozen shoulder, by mobilization or manipulation in conjunction with physical therapy equipment.
– Rehabilitate patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, both pre- and post-operation, such as knee or hip replacement surgeries.
– Rehabilitate sports injuries and recommend correct muscle exercises without causing additional injuries, and train to increase muscle strength.
– Enhance child development appropriate to their age using specialized techniques to help them become as self-reliant and capable of daily routines as possible.
– Rehabilitate patients with strokes, including educating patients and their relatives on care and rehabilitation to return to a normal or near-normal daily life as much as possible.

Medical Technology

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBO) is another new alternative in treating diseases by utilizing the principle of increasing atmospheric pressure inside the chamber up to three times the normal level. This allows 100% pure oxygen to dissolve in the blood up to 20 times more, helping to heal chronic wounds, infected wounds, diabetic wounds, arterial blockages, reduce pain, swelling in various parts of the body, treat osteomyelitis, chronic inflammation, improve blood circulation, and particularly enhance the healing of wounds resulting from radiation, and hard-to-heal wounds.
LiteGait technology is a new form of gait training device that efficiently trains muscles, reduces injuries during gait training, and helps support the body without overstressing muscles in patients who lack strength. It also features an analytic system for more accurate rehabilitation assessments, ensuring patients can quickly and effectively return to a good quality of life.
High power laser devices reduce pain and inflammation in muscles, stimulate the tissue repair process, and are usable in both acute and chronic stages.
Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation (PMS) devices treat pain with electromagnetic waves, using electromagnetic energy to stimulate the muscles and nervous system, reaching the deepest tissue layers without affecting surrounding organs. Improvements can often be observed after the first few treatments.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a technology using electromagnetic waves that can penetrate deep enough through the skin and organs to induce changes in the nervous system and muscle activity without causing any damage to surrounding tissues, making therapy safer and more effective.
Shockwave therapy is a treatment using shock waves to stimulate minor injuries in tissues, accelerating the repair process in the affected area.
Sensory integration therapy helps stimulate the nervous system and sensation including balance, movement, sight, hearing, and speech to function properly for a normal life.
VitalStim is a device that assists in stimulating swallowing in patients with swallowing disorders by delivering mild electrical currents directly to the muscles responsible for swallowing.
