IOL Master 700 is an advanced ocular biometry device from ZEISS that utilizes Swept Source OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) technology to precisely measure various ocular parameters prior to cataract surgery or Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation.
Key Features of IOL Master 700

OCT Scan (Optical Coherence Tomography) Machine is an eye diagnostic tool that uses infrared light waves to create detailed cross-sectional images of the retina and internal structures of the eye non-invasively and painlessly.
It captures high-resolution 2D and 3D cross-sectional images of the optic nerve and retina, offering diagnostic resolution up to 10–15 microns (1 micron is 1/100th of a millimeter). It accurately measures retinal layer thickness and detects pathologies—such as evaluating the risk of optic nerve damage from glaucoma, cataracts, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic macular edema, and macular pucker. It can also visualize details at the vitreoretinal interface. The results are processed immediately via a computer system for real-time abnormality detection and accurate long-term treatment tracking.

Corneal Topography Machine is an ophthalmic diagnostic device used to analyze the curvature, thickness, and structural surface of the anterior cornea in detail. By projecting light rings (Placido ring), it creates a color-coded map of the corneal surface, assisting in diagnosing conditions like Keratoconus and precisely planning LASIK or cataract procedures.
