This is at the discretion of the obstetrician.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple pregnancies<\/li>\n<li>Prenatal vitamins, vaccines, or other medications<\/li>\n<li>Down syndrome screening<\/li>\n<li>Additional examinations such as preterm labor, diabetes diagnosis, thyroid tests, COVID-19 tests before delivery, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Internal examinations<\/li>\n<li>Gestational Diabetes Screening (100 gm OGTT)<\/li>\n<li>It is recommended to screen during the second and third trimesters, especially for those at high risk, such as older age, family history of diabetes, or pregnant women with high body weight or rapid weight gain. Screening helps the doctor monitor complications and ensure a smooth pregnancy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Fetal Health Assessment (NST)<\/h3>\n<p>This test monitors the fetal heart rate during the third trimester, observing uterine contractions as the due date approaches.
