Antenatal Care Package Details

  • Examination and prenatal care by a specialized obstetrician from the beginning of pregnancy until delivery for 9 visits
  • Prenatal supplements quantity: 1 set
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine quantity: 1 dose

Ultrasound Examination List

  • Ultrasound scan in the 1st trimester of pregnancy for 2 times
  • Ultrasound scan in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy for 2 times
  • Ultrasound scan in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy for  3 times
  • Anomaly screening ultrasound for fetal abnormalities (18-22 weeks of gestation) for  1 time
  • 4D Ultrasound scan for  1 time

Laboratory Tests for the First Prenatal Visit

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) for 1 time
  • Rh blood group typing for 1 time
  • ABO Blood Group typing for 1 time
  • Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) test for 1 time
  • Anti-HIV test for 1 time
  • Syphilis screening (VDRL) for 1 time
  • Rubella IgG antibody test for 1 time
  • Thalassemia screening (Hb Typing) for 1 time
  • Urinalysis (Urine exam) for 1 time

Gestational Diabetes Screening List

  • Gestational diabetes screening (50gm GLT) during the 2nd trimester for 1 time
  • Screening for proteinuria and glycosuria (Urine Strip Test) during prenatal visits for 8 times
  • Fetal heart rate monitoring (NST: Non-Stress Test) during the 3rd trimester for 2 times

 

Antenatal Care Package Conditions

  • Includes doctor fees, medical supplies, and hospital service fees for the specified number of visits.
  • The eligibility for the package is at the discretion of the attending obstetrician.
  • In the event of a miscarriage after the first trimester, actual costs incurred will be charged, and any excess payment (if any) will be refunded.

Exclusions from the Package

  • Patients with pre-existing medical conditions or complications such as hypertension, diabetes, etc., are not eligible for the package (subject to the obstetrician’s discretion).
  • Twin pregnancies.
  • Down Syndrome screening.
  • Additional treatments or tests such as preterm labor management.
  • Diagnostic tests for diabetes, thyroid function, or pre-delivery Covid-19 testing, etc.
  • Pelvic examination.

 

NST: Non-Stress Test for Fetal Assessment

This is a test to monitor the fetal heart rate during the 3rd trimester and observe uterine contractions as the due date approaches. The frequency of the test depends on the health of both the mother and the fetus, as recommended by the physician.
