Ready-Made Immunity: Nirsevimab for RSV Prevention in Newborns to 2-Year-Olds
This provides immunity without waiting for infection. It is recommended to be administered before the RSV season
(June to October each year). High-risk infants can receive the injection year-round. RSV is a respiratory infection
commonly found in children under 5 years old, and post-infection may cause long-term respiratory complications.
Immunization Guidelines
- Children under 1 year old: 1 dose
- Children aged 1–2 years: 2 doses (administered at 2 sites simultaneously)
